Welcome to the website for the City of London Race, Britain’s largest annual urban orienteering race. The race, now in its fifth year, will take place on Saturday 22 September 2012, this year in conjunction with the Southern Championships the following day.
Join us, along with a thousand other runners from all over the globe and take up the challenge of navigating at speed around the skyscrapers, historic streets and hidden alleyways that make up the City of London and the surrounding areas. Our event centre this year is near Temple, and around 30% of this year’s mapped area is new to the race.
Entries are OPEN and close midnight Sunday 9th September, or sooner if the race is full (some classes may close earlier if they fill before others.) Early entry is therefore advised to make sure you don’t miss out on a great event. Make it a capital weekend in and around London with the Southern Championships, a Future Champions Cup, UK Cup and UK Masters Cup race organised by Chigwell & Epping Forest OC, in beautiful Epping Forest the following day, for which entries are also now available.
