Competitors taking part in the London City Race on 22 September will have another sporting event to enjoy after their own race – the 8th and final stage of the Tour of Britain 2013 cycle race will be taking place a few miles to the west, in the City of London and Westminster, from 15:30, with an estimated finish time of 17:30 on Whitehall.
Run the London City Race and then catch a train from Greenwich to Charing Cross, or a Jubilee Line train from Canary Wharf to Westminster, to the centre of the cycling action. There will be numerous spectator locations from where you can watch Mark Cavendish and the other top world cyclists battle it out. The tour begins a week earlier in the Scottish Borders.
Come for one race, stay for two!
