Welcome to the website for the City of London Race, a major international orienteering race taking place in London on Saturday 10 September 2011.

Join over 1100 runners from more than 25 countries for the fourth running of the race and experience urban orienteering at its best. Take up the challenge of navigating at speed around the skyscrapers and historic streets that make up the City of London. This year’s race will take place in the northern part of the City and encompass much of the financial heart of London, which is remarkably quiet on weekends. As well as the modern face of the City competitors will experience deserted alleyways, hidden pedestrian precincts and the multi-level technical challenge of the Barbican.

A significant part of this year’s area is newly mapped for the race, meaning there is little overlap with last year’s race area.

Preliminary details and Bulletin 1 are available now. Normal entries are closed but limited late entries are available.
